An open letter about BalboaSchool's winter camp program “Balboa Winter Camp”

Dear Student Parents!

Winter is approaching, surely parents cannot help but wonder about choosing a meaningful and useful gift for their children on this occasion. With that in mind, the "Balboa Winter Camp" winter camp program is organized by BalboaSchool in Vietnam for students monthly throughout the winter. The program is divided into two phases: Phase 1 (November 26-27, 2022), Phase 2 (December 31, 2022-January 1, 2023) to create a program for students to play and learn interestingly and usefully.

PROGRAM OVERVIEW:

1. General introduction:

The winter camp program “Balboa Winter Camp” helps students practice life skills, life values ​​that combine STEM, physical activity and the arts. In addition, students can participate in outdoor experiences and picnics to integrate with nature and the surrounding environment and learn about astronomy and geography. This combination provides an experiential program suitable for teaching activities at the Vietnamese American dual degree program, in order to balance theory and practice to help students achieve the best results in studying in Vietnam.

With a variety of content, rich in activities, students will enjoy winter with many interesting colors, alternating between learning, playing and constantly discovering new things. in life, and at the same time improve English level and develop personality.

2. Program objectives:

What do students get?

• Develop 21st Century skills: Communication Skills, Teamwork, Critical Thinking, Problem Solving, Creativity, Confidence;
• Practice self-reliance, survival skills, and effective response to situations in study and life;
• Participating in physical activities, art, picnics;

3. Duration and participants:

• Participants: 1st to 5th grade students
• Time: 2 days 1 night/course
• Tuition for students: 4,500,000 VND

4. PROGRAM CONTENT

The skills program is held 2 days - 1 night conducted by the skills department of BalboaSchool in Vietnam. The program will be carried out in parallel with the Vietnamese American dual degree program, bringing exciting experiences for 2 days and 1 night to improve skills for students in Vietnam.

* Especially in the program, the children have the opportunity to show their talents and interact with inspiring foreign teachers; participate in folk games; Happy Dinner, and were awarded a badge at the end of the program.

5. DIFFERENT VALUE:

2. Basic life skills training

– Group of skills to take care of and protect yourself: Health care; Survival skills.

– Group of self-control skills: Self-awareness; Emotional restraint, time management; decision-making skills.
