In addition to the infrastructure, building a classroom that is both friendly and challenging is one of the keys to student success in the future. Getting students interested and curious about the subject and helping them overcome their fear of making mistakes is one of the goals of a teacher.
The Vietnamese-American dual diploma program is built based on the educational standards system of California, America inherits the practical program of BalboaSchool, and has been recompiled to suit the needs of students, with the study duration and the corresponding level of Vietnamese students; approved and licensed by the Ministry of Education and Training.
One of our efforts is to equip students with the necessary skills they will need when studying and working in an international environment. Acquiring practical knowledge requires students' love for the subject and the ability to self-study and the best thing about a teacher's job is "seeing the bright eyes" of students when they get excited, think critically, and start asking questions about a topic. Only then will students truly understand and remember what they have learned. A flexible learning program built by qualified, experienced teachers is the premise for such active and creative learning activities.
To optimize its goals, the Vietnamese-American dual diploma program builds small classes, with the number of students ranging from 15-20 students per class, in order to help teachers pay attention more closely to the needs, interests and strengths of each student. This is very important for learning foreign languages because students will have more detailed pronunciation corrections and have more time to practice communicating with teachers. Not only that, in English lessons, we have a team of experienced teaching assistants ready to help and ensure that each student firmly grasps the content of the lesson.
Small tests and homework are always designed in different forms such as quizzes, games, etc., so that children can find excitement and inspiration in learning, without being pressured in terms of scores. The program will be based on the results of quizzes to provide an effective personalized learning approach and supplement knowledge for students.
We believe that an international standard environment should inspire students to learn, be comfortable within the framework, and encourage students' creativity and freedom of expression. They are accompanied, listened to, shared and developed the best of their own strengths.
Besides the academic aspect, students have developed the soft skills required by global citizens. Many activities, clubs and projects were built, organized and resoundingly successful thanks to the enthusiastic participation of families & students. We want to create a lot of playgrounds, and lots of opportunities for children to experience and overcome all their limits.
And to realize the goal of providing students with comprehensive education, the learning environment also plays an important part. The Music and Fine Arts function rooms at the affiliated partner schools are fully equipped with musical instruments and learning tools, while the STEM room is equipped with advanced machines such as 3D printers and CNC cutters as well as lego kits.
In addition, it is essential to have a friendly working environment where teachers can support and help each other as well as innovate teaching methods. It is the teacher who will help students develop into responsible, motivated individuals with the skills necessary for future success.
