Currently, learning Mathematics in English is gradually becoming an indispensable need. Learning Math through English can help children acquire a new learning method, step over language barriers to access an endless store of knowledge and a borderless learning environment. From there, they form active learning habits and become aware of themselves as students in an international environment.
Meet the needs of students and parents. In order to create a playground for students who have a love for Mathematics, have high thinking ability in finding new solutions to a problem, and at the same time create conditions for students to show their talents, and have the opportunity to exchange and learn. Xanh Tue Duc Primary and Secondary School deployed English Math Club for students in grades 2,3,4,5.
What's so special about English Math Club?
As its name, comes to the club, students will use English to solve math problems.
The club aims at international math competitions such as TIMO, AMO, IKMC, AMC, ... Through a variety of activities will be implemented, opening up opportunities for students to familiarize themselves with international math; thereby developing creativity, logical thinking, and at the same time supplementing and fostering math ability for children.
The club distributes to rousing the passion and enthusiasm of Math teachers and encourages the innovation of teachers' educational methods and the innovation of students' learning.
- Participants: 20 people per block, made based on a short assessment in English math class, observations and consultation from Vietnamese math teachers and English teachers.
- Time and method of participation: from 4 p.m to 5:15 pm (after class).
Grade 2: Every Monday at class 2A6 from September 12, 2022
Grade 3: Every Tuesday at class 3A7 from September 13, 2022
Grade 4: Every Wednesday at class 4A4 from September 14, 2022
Grade 5: Every Thursday at class 5A2 from September 15, 2022.
